Hercules the Panto

Hercules the mythological hero will make his way onto the stage at The Geelong Arena this June!

Audiences will be transported to the theatre of Dionysus, as the Geelong Society of Operatic and Dramatic Arts (GSODA) Junior Players mesmerise and delight with song and dance. This classic story presented in a modern way promises to have the crowd dancing in the aisles as they laugh their way through the trials and tribulations of Hercules.

New questions will be raised in this interpretation that would never have been considered in the classical era; could Hercules’ true love be a pop star? Could she run a successful hair styling business? All will be answered on the night.

This is the perfect opportunity to watch the stars of the future, with many former members of the GSODA Theatre Company, which turned 50 recently, going on to have successful careers in film and television.
