Take a walk at Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary

Now that lockdown measures are beginning to ease, many of us will begin heading out and exploring our own backyard, including some of Victoria’s stunning coastlines; several of which are located in Greater Geelong.

One of the best places to visit, with something for everyone, is Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary, which is situated just 20 minutes from Glenlee.

Home to a variety of unique coral reefs, sea creatures and birds, this wildlife haven is a great place to take the family on a sunny weekend to enjoy.

This picturesque sanctuary also boasts a number of rockpools, providing an interactive way to teach the kids more about Victoria’s marine life.
