Glenlee Nominated for UDIA Award – Residential Subdivision
ID_Land and project partner Occasio are proud to announce that Glenlee has been shortlisted for this year’s Urban Developer Institute of Australia Victorian Awards for the Residential Subdivision category. This award recognises projects that foster strong relationships with nearby facilities and amenities to meet the needs of residents and the broader community.
In the heart of Glenlee is the Glenlee Regional Park, a popular destination in Armstrong Creek for both residents and the wider Geelong community. The park has earned an impressive 4.7-star rating on Google. It features play elements for all ages and is a vibrant meeting place, exercise area, and the perfect spot for walking furry friends on sunny days. The park’s retention of over 60 existing trees was also notable in the project’s shortlisting.
Glenlee is located in a prime position with direct access to Barwon Heads Road, which connects residents to Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and beyond. With ongoing enhancements like the duplication of Barwon Heads Road and new schools, connectivity and amenities in the area are continually improving. As a result, residents of Glenlee are reaping the benefits of the region’s growth.
When it comes to location, the adjacent Sparrovale-Nubitj yoorree Wetlands is a stunning 500-hectare nature reserve right on our residents’ doorstep. It’s a natural wonder and home to a thriving ecosystem of native flora and fauna. The City of Greater Geelong plans to introduce walking paths, parks, picnic areas, and lookout points to enhance the outdoor experience for everyone in the near future. It’s proximity and outlook from Glenlee was also noted as a major drawcard for the community.
This nomination reflects the project team’s commitment to delivering a high-quality community at Glenlee that provides convenient family living and room to grow.
Congratulations to all other nominees, and we look forward to the winners being announced later this year.
