Carols by the bay

Step into the Christmas spirit with the City of Greater Geelong’s partnership event with Danis Walter OAM, as they jointly illuminate the city’s annual Floating Christmas Tree.

Held on 30 November at Steampacket Gardens, the event is free and welcomes everyone down to enjoy a star-studded line up of performers and Santa visit for the kids.

Hosted by Denis Walter, Carol by the Bay promises to deliver a heartwarming event infused with the essence and spirit of Christmas. Bringing the community together to celebrate and connect
Bask in the sunset over the bay and relish the entertainment of this free concert with the preshow beginning at 6:30pm followed by a 7:15pm Team Dream Kids Entertainment event.

The main proceedings will commence at 8pm featuring several musical wonders and a Santa visit before the final 9:15pm lighting of the annual Floating Christmas Tree tradition begins, including low-level pyrotechnics and a light and sound show.
